Personal Accident Cover is designed to offer some peace of mind to players, officials and volunteers of a club by having protection for certain costs related to an injury sustained whilst involved in a club activity.
The Waratah Football Club has Bronze level coverage which provides 50% reimbursement, $2000 max. per claim and $100 excess per claim - for reimbursement of items which are not claimable through Medicare.
Players are encouraged to upgrade their coverage to include, or purchase their own, income protection, should they injure themselves and not be able to undertake their usual employment.
